A lovely weekend

Over the weekend, the husband and I drove down to Oceanside Ca and hopped on a sailboat for a sunset sail.  Celebrating the husbands Grandfather's birthday, we set sail hoping to get a glimpse of the sun, unfortunately it was just too grey.  Even though we didn't get to actually see the sun dip below the horizon, it was still so nice to be out on the water.  Growing up, we had a speed boat and summers were spent on lakes tubing and knee boarding, needless to say, a sail boat was a whole new experience for me.  Just hearing the water slap the side of the boat made every worry just melt away.  How did you spend your weekend?
