Fun in the sun
Craving sunshine, the husband and I packed up a beach bag and headed out to the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk yesterday for a little fun in the sun and a few oh so bad for you beach snacks. Although we did try to get roasted corn on the cob 3 times before giving up and having a chocolate dipped cone. At least we tried. We didn't get on any rides but we both took a little snooze on the sand with a nice tan to prove it. Here are just a few shots I was able to get, the sun was so sharp it made everything super bright! And I had to throw in a shot of me that my husband snapped with his cell, I am finally using my huge collection of scarves and rocked a fun big bow.

I love the pics!!! Especially the bright building- where is that? Is that a boardwalk building? I <3 SC! I took Sergio there once and he fell in love with it a little I think! :) it was late winter/early spring so it was freezing, but taking am coffee walks on a quiet, empty, foggy beach was perfect! I miss Cali!!!! :) wish I was there to hang out with you- glad you two had a good time!!!
Thanks Jill! Yes, that is a building on the boardwalk, loved the colors. Santa Cruz was one of Evan and I's first date spots so it was nice to go back almost 10 years later :)
I loved the colors too! I was just remembering last tuesday about when you two first met! So much time has FLOWN by. It's amazing.
Now THAT is how summer is supposed to look like, yes?
