Friday findings

Happy Friday everyone.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend.  We have a long day planting in the garden ahead of us and a mini vacation to plan!
The happy home blog has a wonderful collection of black and white rooms for your home decor inspiration. While I love the contrast of the two colors, yes, I consider black and white colors, I would also through in another color here and there for some pizazz.

This might be one of the most creative and fun birthdays ever!  Ruby of Cakies, and her husband Ben put together a wonderful photo booth inspired day for their oldest, True.  She wanted a photo booth, and that's what she got.  The family made stops at fun booths, had props for fun posing and managed to make a little girls dream come true.  So creative!

This diy book cover and book mark project is perfect for making a summer sketch book or grad present.  Kathleen of Twig & Thistle, provides a great step by step post on how to make your not so good looking books something you actually want to hold.

A fun project for the weekend, coloring doily's.  Found on Charlotte's Fancy,  Molly has a simple diy project that make me want to grab a pack and my food coloring.  These would be perfect for parties, either on the table top, strung as garland or even as packaging prettiness.

Found this mouth watering recipe for roasted asparagus with toasted breadcrumbs over at Seven Spoons.  I've never had an asparagus dish I didn't like, can't wait to try this one!
