Modern shelving

Always on the lookout for new ways to store our enormous quantities of books, these pipes from Dirty Bils Interiors would sure be a conversation starter.  What do you think about using more of industrial parts as decor?  I think that done right, and not completely over the top, metals can be amazing in homes.
