For the Tetris lovers

Last week the husband and I came to the conclusion that our Ikea bookcases have done their duty and it is time for a newer look.  Thankfully, over the weekend we stopped by our new favorite used furniture store Poor Honey's (don't you just love the name!) and found two giant bookcases.  They both need work, but for $35 a piece, they were a steal.  Although, after seeing this short stop motion video of a Tetris inspired bookcase has me jonzing for more.  How do you store your books and knick naks?

Modern shelving

Always on the lookout for new ways to store our enormous quantities of books, these pipes from Dirty Bils Interiors would sure be a conversation starter.  What do you think about using more of industrial parts as decor?  I think that done right, and not completely over the top, metals can be amazing in homes.
