Beautify your backgrounds

Just another reason I need to get an iPad stat. These wallpapers available for download from Behance are just so beautiful to look at plus they are free. A win win. I suppose you could also use them as regular desktop backgrounds too but it sure would look way more spiffy on a portable tablet don't you think. I've really been into downloading new and fun backgrounds, I'm currently rocking a dotted beauty from Design Love Fest and these would be a great addition to any desktop.

These painted images from Alexandra Valenti are simply stunning don't you think? Being constantly surrounded with fog and clouds the grey mixed with bright colors just keep me staring wishing I could forever live my life hand painting people as I walk along my neighborhood. Years ago the husband had wanted to try his hand at painting over another painting but never got around to it and after seeing this I hope he feels inspired to give it a whirl again. Its such an interesting effect to manipulate the view and feeling of each photo.

Colorful wrists

Sometimes the best accessories come from the strangest places and these watches {that both my husband and I share 'cus he's that cool} by far get the most comments. And you know the best part? Each one was only a $1.50! The husband found them at our local Daiso store a few months back and has been growing this colorful collection ever since. I love to add these to a plain outfit for a burst of color, something totally necessary around here since it is always grey outside...nothing like looking down and seeing a little neon.
