Accessorizing
Now that spring has sprung and flowers are in full bloom it only makes sense that we mustn't forget to adorn our neckline with color and whimsy. Urban legend is filled with beautiful vintage beads brought together in perfect pallets to match any outfit. I'm simply loving this top left one, it would be perfect paired with a basic tee, jeans and a blazer. If you are a necklace fiend like me, Urban legend offers a 3 month necklace of the month option for those who like to be surprised when you open up that mail box.

Accessorizing
Happy Monday friends, I had one seriously busy weekend how about you? The husband and I managed to do all that we had planned, a trip to the Academy of Science, a stop at the succulent and cactus sale along with the local plant sale in Golden Gate park, a trip to a local flea market and even a late night concert last night seeing Mother Mother. By the way, they are totally awesome! But alas, the week is here again, so back to our regularly scheduled work right?
At least I have these beauties from Laura Lombardi Jewelry to lust over. Made from vintage brass, these creations are just lovely don't you think? I love a good statement piece and these are perfect for casual outfits, I totally want double triangle strand to wear with jeans and a tee. How do you like to accessorize? I like to rock giant necklaces or fancy cocktail rings with tone of color or bling. You can never go wrong with accessories!

Up-cycled and gorgeous
I have been on the hunt for a while now for a simple gold band to go with my wedding ring... I opted for a massive antique setting instead of a plain band. As a gift to me, I was supposed to get a simple band for our 1st anniversary, but that came and went, and we needed new tires, so you know how that goes! Anyway, I found these babies from Epheriell and at only $35 for these 3, they may just do the trick! There is just something so simple and delicate about them, I'm thinking the gold one would look fantastic with my wedding ring. And along with simple round rings, designer Jess from Australia has a wonderful way of creating eye catching pieces for your neckline, ears and hands. Plus, almost every piece is made from recycled metal, so there was no additional mining involved... love that!!
And what collection wouldn't be complete without an old school name necklace?

For the girls
With the holiday season approaching at lighting speed, I thought I would start out with a few gift ideas for those who like things a little girly. Who wouldn't like to open up a little stocking stuffer with one of these guys... I know I would! All are Etsy sellers, so you can feel even better by supporting small companies too!
Perhaps its our move to nature country that has me giddy for all things nature related, but this little leaf from Lily Leighs is a perfect addition to any collection.

I have so many simple pendants, and I still can't get enough! They are perfect for layering too. This simple gold tear drop from Of Matter is for sure a top contender for a stocking stuffer... for me!
Sometimes a girl just wants something with a little flash. Urbanite Jewelry does a wonderful job at making a statement piece without going over the top. Made from Czech glass beads, its the perfect accessory to a little bling, without you know, bling.
Sometimes just a simple pendant is all you need to spruce up a t-shirt and jeans. And this feather from Sumiko Shop is perfect for a little something something.

Modern and classic, just like I like it! From PS I heart you.
What would this little round up be without a little quirkiness? I am just loving this adorable captain duck. I suppose I have ducks on the brain, this morning while riding bikes with the dog, she decided to explore her new country digs... including a pond. She dove in head first after a group of ducks in probably 40 degree water! Anyway, this pendant from La Petite Boheme is a perfect conversation starter, don't you think? Plus, its reversible!

For the neckline
I'm sort of loving these crocheted necklaces from Dela Chic. Mixing yarns with metals and woods sure makes for a unique look, and I think its fab. And at only 20 bucks a pop, you can snag a few!
