Delicate wares

As of late I can't seem to get enough table top decor, there are so many ways to set things up having tons of decor accessories are a must in this house.  And these delicate and handmade vases from Sara Paloma pottery are a classic beauty. I saw Sara's booth at Renegade last weekend and just couldn't make a decision as to which one I wanted, although I seem to keep coming back to this charming bud vase.  Each piece is wheel thrown here in the bay area and no two are exactly alike.  And I love the fact that Sara was forced into pottery thanks to those darn required classes in college!  You can find Sara's portfolio filled with amazing pieces here and her shop here.

Hanging happyness

Over the weekend we filled our place with a bunch of growing plants and now comes the hard part, finding vessels for everything.  I've had a thing for air plants lately, and even though there were a ton available to purchase, I held back and am in search of the perfect hanging option to house it.  Its been a while since I had stopped on over at Terrain and its probably for the better, they always have so many fantastic items.  Like these hanging pieces, I think they are pretty perfect for air plants or smaller succulents.  I'm picturing a few clumped together hanging in a corner as a focal point, what do you think?  Oh Terrain, how you pull at my wallet strings!  I just love to decorate with fresh plants, especially ones that can be planted in dirt, they last so much more longer then cut flowers.

Up in the air somewhere

Do you ever stumble upon a shop and love every single thing?  It just happened to me over at Up in the air somewhere. Handcrafted in Chicago by artist Susan Dwyer, each vessel is created using food safe materials as well as recycled and repurposed waterproof paper mache.  They are stunningly minimal but give a huge impact.  And that water tower has holes for use with a potted plant!
